The Baltimore Book Festival

You all know how excited I am about the upcoming Baltimore Book Festival, right?! In addition to the two panels I'm moderating, there will be a bunch of other events going on.  Here are some excerpts from the Festival's official press release listing just SOME of the many authors who will be there over the weekend. It will be so much fun!!!  I'll definitely be there on Sunday, and maybe Friday as well. Let me know if I'll see you there.

Also, if you are planning to attend the National Book Festival in DC on Saturday then check out this post from S. Krishna's Books and add your name to the blogger get-together list.  I won't be there for the festival itself but I'll be joining everyone for dinner.

Gah! Why do they have to do the YA/children's on Friday evening. No way for me to get there because of work. Boo! :(

Sounds like a great line-up all around though.

I would love to be there for Michele Norris and Amy Dickinson. I love them both and I knew that Michele has a book coming out but I don't know much about it yet.

Michelle - What, you mean you can't take off work for book-related events?! LOL I'll see you on Saturday for dinner though, right?

Coffee and a Book Chick - That's too bad! Since you're local, have you added yourself to the local bloggers database yet?

Ryan - I don't know either of those authors - am I missing something good?

Kim - Thanks! You can be sure I'll recap them as soon as I can. :)

Michele Norris is a journalist and I believe her new book is about race in America....I think that's what I heard anyway. Amy Dickinson is just funny.

I should clarify that I'm from Baltimore but I live in Florida now -- sorry about that! In my green haze of jealousy, I wasn't clear!!
