Get Caught Reading - kiddo on vacation

 September 17, 2010

The minute we arrived at the beach house for our last summer getaway, Kiddo, my formerly reluctant reader, hopped on the couch and flipped open his book.  This has NEVER happened before.  Needless to say, I was excited.  What book captured his attention?  How To Train Your Dragon, by Cressida Cowell.

Get Caught Reading is a Sunday meme hosted by Miss Remmers' Review

Way to go, Mom! I love pictures like this that show the comfort and love of reading kids can demonstrate when you least expect it :o)

I love this!! Thanks for participating! That's how I feel when I "catch" my students actually reading when they aren't required.

That's awesome! I'll have to add that book to our list for reading this year. My boys loved the movie.

I've heard the movie adaptation is fabulous too! Once he finishes the book he might enjoy the DVD.
