Introducing My BEA/BBC Roommates

I'm REALLY starting to get excited about BEA and the BBC. I know it is still over a month away but I like to plan in advance - it makes me happy.

My biggest stress was finding people to share a room with. I have no problem meeting new people or sharing a room with someone I don't know, my problem was how to FIND these people. So I was very grateful when another blogger posted about the roommate finder survey going on at Neverending Shelf. I filled out the form then browsed the comments and guess what I found there? Three people who were looking for a 4th roomie - WOOHOO!

Without futher ado, here are my three roommates:
We'll be staying at the Comfort Inn just two blocks from the Convention Center. I couldn't be happier! Now I just need to buy my train ticket and I'll be all set to go.

*** Questions For You ***

Are you going to any part of BEA or the BBC? If so, I'd love to know what days you'll be there and which hotel you'll be at.

I am so excited about going. I'm staying at the Fairfield Inn New York Manhattan/Times Square, and I will be all by myself, so I would absolutely love to set something up to meet you! I arrive on Monday and I'm not leaving until Saturday!

*pout* Nope, I won't be going. Can't afford it this year. May be able to talk hubby into it next year, though.
Glad you found your roommates.

Alas, I won't be able to go this year. It's during out busiest time of the year, maybe someday though. The roomate situation would be a little odd for me since most of the other bloggers going are girls.

I'll be at BEA and BBC! No hotel for me though. Can't see paying for room when I can commute from NJ every day.

I'm really looking forward tot meeting you! I am actually renting a studio apartment in Chelsea Tuesday through Saturday. My husband will be there with me at least part of the time, and I love having the ability to have a kitchen to cook some of my own food and store leftovers.

This is so awesome that you're going! I went last year and it was absolutely fantastic. I am not sure if I will be going this year. I have registered just in case but I will be looking forward to your after BEA posts regardless.

Anna & Serena - It will be great to see you again, although it's hilarious that we have to go to NYC to do it, considering that we live so close! LOL

lilly - Let me know what you decide - I'd love to meet you. :)
