Wheel of Time: New Plot Summary!

More exciting news about Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series!

First ...
The back cover blurb from the upcoming release of A Memory of Light, Part One: The Gathering Storm has been posted at this site.

I'm so excited! I'll be listening to book 11 in October and preordering A Memory of Light as soon as I can ... I can't wait to get my hands on it.

And second ...
I missed the first annual Robert Jordan/Wheel of Time convention in Georgia earlier this month and boy do I wish I could have been there! Check out the recaps posted by these three attendees for an idea of the fun we missed out on:
Leigh, blogger for Tor.com
Richard Fife, guest blogger for Tor.com
Jason, site guru for Dragonmount.com
plus the official news from JordanCon

Brandon Sanderson has promised to post a recap soon as well - I'll be sure to link to it once it is up.

The Macmillian blurb was pulled from the program at Jordoncon. One of the recaps mention it in full. I think either Leigh's or Jason's, but don't hold me to that.

I don't think I would count on it being the back cover blurb yet. Book sellers have been known to jump the gun and post incorrect stuff.

That said, I think it is a good indicator of what to expect with The Gathering Storm.

(I'm really looking forward to it! The Eqwene/Amyrlin storyline is one of my favorites.)

I can't wait until this comes out! I haven't been this excited about a book since Deathly Hollows. I wonder if it is really the blurb, or publishers making one up. Sanderson usually posts that stuff first in his blog or site. Either way....I WANT IT! I like the Perrin Story line. He is one of my favourite characters (I'm only on book 7, hopefully he's in it for Book 12)

ella144 - yeah, I know, it could change, but it is the first "official" word I've heard and I'm excited!

Jules - As ella144 said, it was from the program at JordanCon ... but that's all I know. :) Oh, and I LOVE Perrin too!
