NYC Recap - Friday Night

This was THE.BEST.NIGHT I had in NYC. Barbara @ Reading Group Guides, Candace @ Beth Fish Reads, and Jenn @ Jenn's Bookshelves joined me for dinner at Becco (an Italian place) in the theater district. It was a hot night but the food and wine were fantastic and the company was even better. After dinner we went to the bar at a nearby hotel where we had an amazing view of Times Square from 8 stories up. A lot of wine was consumed by all. Here's to doing it again next year - cheers!

As much as I love going out with big groups at BEA, the small, intimate groups like that are really the best. Glad y'all had so much fun!

It's my dream to one day meet up with other bloggers and eat and drink with them. Lots of talk about books, etc. Sigh.

Aww, looks like so much fun! Glad you ladies had a fabulous night. Spencer and I wound up meeting some friends in the city and eating/talking in a diner for quite a while, which was fun! But no wine for us :(

What, Friday was your best night in NYC, and not Wednesday? I'm so sad! :-D

No, not really - glad you had a good time, and I have to agree that those small-group gatherings really are the best way to spend time with people. I hope we can do it again next year!

bermudaonion - Yes, it is an entirely different vibe when you have a small group versus a large group.

Amanda - I so wish you could have been there too!

Sheila - Ah well, I'm glad you got to see Mary Poppins instead.

Bybee - I'll cross my fingers that you get to join us one of these years ... or that bloggers decide to visit Korea en masse. :)

Alyce - It was such a fantastic night!

Dreamybee - I'm hoping to get up some book posts over the next week, once I get caught up on housework and "real" work.

Beth F & Jenn - Absolutely!

Meg - Sounds like you had a fun time as well, but no wine?! Oh the horror! LOL

Esme - Barbara IS great, isn't she?!

Andi - I'm so glad you enjoyed them. And green is my favorite color. ;)

Florinda - Um, oops! Wednesday was great as well (of course) but in a completely different way. And I would LOVE to do it all again next year.
